MAP: Miami Valley median home prices

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — It is no surprise that housing prices have skyrocketed over the past few years.

The National Association of Realtors released data detailing median home prices across the country. The calculated median home price for the Miami Valley as a whole is $206,408.

Prospective homebuyers will likely see the highest average price of $349,740 in Warren County, while the lowest is $144,320 in Wayne County, Indiana.

With mortgage rates constantly fluctuating, the monthly mortgage rate for a home in Montgomery County is an estimated $130 higher compared to last year.

In the U.S., San Mateo County, California is listed as the county with the highest median value at $1,575,350. Todd County, South Dakota was calculated to be the county with the lowest value in the country.
