DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Just a week after entering the transfer portal UD men’s basketball forward Nate Santos announced on social media Saturday night his return to the Flyers for his final season in 2024-25.

Prior to withdrawing from the portal, Santos was the fifth Dayton Flyer to leave the program this spring.

The now four players to move on from Dayton this off-season include Koby Brea (Kentucky), Kobe Elvis (Oklahoma), Petras Padegimas (Mercer) and Zimi Nwokeji.

Santos, a 6-foot-7 forward from Geneva, Illinois, ranked second in scoring with 11.7 points per game and rebounding at 6.3 in his one season with the Flyers.

Santos spent his first two seasons at Pittsburgh and then transferred to Dayton last June.
