Dayton Metro Library closing on Sundays

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton Metro Library has made the change to reduce hours at its main location.

Beginning June 2, the Main Branch of Dayton Metro Library, 215 E. Third St., will not open for operation on Sundays, according to Debi Chess, director of external relations and development at DML.

Staffing to the Main Branch has been impacted by an underperformance of the public library fund.

Hold lockers in the lobby will remain open for visitors to collect their library materials.

The Main Branch is the only DML location with Sunday hours, and the only impacted location.
