PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — The Preble transit system, known for its service towards senior citizens, is making efforts to accommodate customers of all ages.

According to our partners at The Register Herald , the expanded service will “initially be available within the City of Eaton but will widen over time to the entire county.”

The Preble County Council on Aging (PCCOA) provides transit services. Representatives from the council ensure that services will continue to be cost-efficient and accessible for more riders.

“We will continue to deliver outstanding service to our seniors while providing more rides for more people to meet the needs of our growing community,” Shelley Ratliff, Executive Director of the PCCOA said to the Register Herald.

One-way rides throughout the city of Eaton will cost $3, and will be offered Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those under 18 years of age must ride with a parent and those under 4 years of age must ride in a car seat.

Curb to curb services are also available upon advanced registration, as is door-to-door service.

To schedule a ride, call 937-456-9272 or 1-800-238-5146. Click here for more information
