City offices in Piqua will close for several hours

PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) — The City of Piqua will host an appreciation event, which will cause city offices to close for a few hours today.

The city announced on social media that from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. offices will close to allow employees to attend the annual employee appreciation event.

“The Piqua Utility Business Office, including telephones, will not be open and will return during normal business hours on Friday, Aug. 16, at 8 a.m.,” read the post.

Garbage, refuse and recycling collections will operate on normal scheduling.
