Hollywood Gaming to celebrate anniversary this weekend

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a weekend bash.

Beginning on Friday Aug. 16, the racino will host the Dayton Funk All-Stars. The group, known for their R&B and titular funk sound, will play on the Sunset Stage from 7-10 p.m.

On Saturday Aug. 17, more musicians will appear, as well as over 15 food vendors. The Growlers, known for their classic rock stylings, will play at 4 p.m., then the Ryan Mundy Band will take over the stage with their country sound at 6 p.m., followed by the Parrots of the Caribbean at 8:30 p.m.

Food trucks will be available to visit on Saturday Aug. 17, from 4-10 p.m., and the vendor fair will be held in the Lower Racing area of the racino from 4-8 p.m.

Saturday’s festivities will conclude with a fireworks display.

Guests are invited to bring a chair or blanket and kick back and enjoy the festivities. All ages are welcome to attend the weekend events.
