DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Across Ohio, drought conditions are continuing to worsen.

With only four intensities of drought, the National Drought Mitigation Center has placed 21 of Ohio’s 88 counties into an extreme drought. Drought condition levels range from none to exceptional drought.

In an extreme drought, NDMC reports lawns can become dormant, as well as negatively impact livestock.
