AES Ohio making significant changes to all accounts

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — AES Ohio customers will soon see major changes to their account.

Starting Aug. 28, AES Ohio will be replacing the outdated customer system with new technology.

Once the new system is enacted, each customer will receive a new account number. Customers will also have more options to manage their account with user-friendly billing. Homeowners needing to either start or stop service to their residence will have additional options, according to AES Ohio.

“For over 110 years, you have trusted us to deliver reliable energy services, our commitment has always been to power lives seamlessly,” says Tom Raga, president of AES Ohio. “We are making everything from payments to account management more intuitive and straightforward.”

From Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. to Sept. 4 at 9 a.m., payments by internet and phone will be unavailable.
