WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A meeting to discover what local residents would like to see in the community is happening in Washington Township.

On Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m., a community meeting will occur for township residents in the auditorium at RecPlex West. During the session, township officials will be looking to hear directly from residents on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

The Comprehensive Land Use Plan is an effort to decide important issues to locals in the community, such as economic development, housing and transportation methods.

“Those perspectives turn into recommendations and ultimately help guide the future of land use policy, funding, resource decisions, and infrastructure in the Township, as it relates to zoning and development,” said Washington Township.

Washington Township residents with any comments, concerns or questions regarding land use, are encouraged to attend the meeting.
