1 person hospitalized after attack by couple in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — An argument between couples led to one person recovering in the hospital and two others arrested under police custody.

The Dayton Police Department reports that officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Ashton Lane just before midnight on report of a disorderly subject.

At the scene, officers located multiple individuals involved and, after investigating the incident, determined that an argument between the two couples led to one pair attacking the other. In an attempt to hide, one of the individuals being attacked got into a vehicle and backed into a suspect’s vehicle, sending it into a garage.

A male individual, who was attacked, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The couple alleged of attacking the other was arrested and are being held in police custody on charges of felonious assault and assault.

The case is being investigated further by the DPD’s Violent Offender Unit.
