Friday, Aug. 30

Labor Day Family Value Weekend at Young’s — 11 a.m., 6880 Springfield-Xenia Road, Yellow Springs. Spend the weekend visiting with farm animals, playing games and eating ice cream during Young’s Jersey Dairy’s Family Value days. Learn more .

Dayton Silent Disco — 8 p.m., 700 E. Fourth Street, Dayton. It’s the last week of August, which means its time for Silent Disco at Yellow Cab Tavern! This month’s theme is Hat and Wig Party. Learn more.

Saturday, Aug. 31

Tour de Gem 7th Annual Cycling Classic — 8 a.m., 220 N. Patterson Blvd., Dayton. This cycling fundraiser gives back to local nonprofits while riders race throughout Dayton. Learn more .

5th Annual Taste of Trotwood — 1 p.m., 301 S. Broadway Street, Trotwood. This annual event is full of local food, lots of entertainment and community activities. Learn more .

Sunday, Sept. 1
