1 injured in West Dayton apartment complex shooting

A shooting Saturday night at a West Dayton apartment complex left one person injured and Dayton Police searching for a suspect.

Police were called to Summit Square Apartments, 616 Summit Square Dr., around 9:40 p.m. Saturday.

According to Montgomery County Dispatch, officers found one person with a gunshot wound. That person was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, condition currently unknown.

The investigation continues as officers seek a suspect and motive.
