DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A developer has been tapped to conduct work at a vacant downtown Dayton hotel.

“While the MCCFA heard from a number of qualified developers, it determined that Concord had the ideal strategy for the development and operation of a convention center-centric property with proven experience in Dayton,” said Pam Plageman, CEO and executive director of MCCFA.

The MCCFA reports contract negotiations will be conducted over the next two to three months for precise information relating to the project.

In April , WDTN reported the Montgomery County Convention Facilities Authority announced a new hotel was proposed.
