    Dayton National Cemetery seeking to lay 60,000 wreaths

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — National Wreaths Across America Day will see the laying of thousands of wreaths to honor fallen veterans.

    The wreaths will be housed at the Dayton National Cemetery on Dec. 14. at noon.

    With a goal set at 60,000 wreaths, the organization is looking to residents to help meet that goal.

    “Your sponsorship will support the new and existing programs developed to share the mission. And, it will place a wreath to honor an American hero at one of more than 4,400 participating locations this year on National Wreaths Across America Day, a day set aside to lay gathers as Americans with the same goal,” reads a statement from the website.

    Sponsorship prices start at $17 for 1 wreath and escalate to $85 for 5 wreaths and $170 for 10 wreaths. There is also an option to buy a custom amount of wreaths.
