Crews respond to fire at Washington Township home

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — Over one dozen firefighters responded to a fire at a residence in southern Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch confirmed to 2 NEWS that fire crews were sent to a home in the 1900 block of Horseshoe Bend in Washington Township. Crews were sent in reference to a reported trash can fire inside of the home.

When our 2 NEWS crew arrived at the scene, multiple fire trucks from the Washington Township Fire Department were seen on the roadway, as well as over 12 firefighters outside of the residence. According to our crew, visible damage could be seen on the house.
