    Driver crashes into rear of empty school bus Wednesday

    WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) — One person reported injuries after a crash on Wednesday morning.

    According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 8:10 a.m. to the the intersection of Nutt Road and Sprinter’s Crossing on report of an injury crash.

    No students were injured in the crash, as it occurred right before students got on the bus.

    Fairborn announces temporary street closure

    An initial investigation indicates that a vehicle crashed into the rear of the bus as it was preparing to load students on to it. The crash occurred when the vehicle failed to yield while going in the same direction, eastbound on Sprinters Crossing, as the bus.

    The driver of the vehicle reported minor injuries.

    The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
