Man flees on foot from traffic stop on I-75, not yet located: OSP

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The Lebanon Post of Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a traffic stop led to a driver fleeing on foot.

According to OSP, at 11:40 a.m., the Lebanon Communications Center received calls regarding an unsafe vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 75.

The vehicle, identified as a silver GMC pickup truck, was located on northbound I-75 near milepost 40 in Clearcreek Township.

A trooper conducted a traffic stop, and the GMC stopped on the right shoulder of the interstate.

During the traffic stop, the driver fled on foot, east into a tree line. Multiple agencies supported an attempted search, but the driver was not located.

This incident remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post.
