Men accused of opening fire, shooting 12 year old plead not guilty

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The two men accused of opening fire and killing a 12-year-old girl appeared in court today for arraignment.

Antoine Benson, 23, and Javen Conner, 19, pleaded not guilty to several charges including murder . The two men are accused of opening fire on three houses on Fairview Ave. last month, striking and killing Isabella Amor Carlos who was asleep in bed.

The judge set the cash surety bonds for both men at $1 million.

They’re set to appear in court again on Sept. 26.
