    Road reopens as work continues on water main break in Centerville

    CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) — Maintenance work is ongoing for a water main break in Centerville.

    The city reported a water main break in the area yesterday afternoon before 4 p.m.

    As crews from Public Works tend to the issue, the area of Briggs Road, more specifically between Severn Lane and the 2500 block of Briggs Road was closed Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.

    As of 1:10 p.m., Briggs Road is open. Crews are continuing to tend to the water main break, so, a part of the sidewalk will be closed during repairs. The city confirmed too that water is safe to use in the area.
