Police cruiser involved in crash in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A police cruiser was involved in a crash in Huber Heights Friday afternoon.

According to Huber Heights Dispatch, the crash occurred at Fishburg Road and Brandt Pike. A release from the Dayton Post of Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed the incident occurred at 3:15 p.m.

An on-duty officer was traveling eastbound on Fishburg Road, and upon entering the intersection of Brandt Pike, the officer’s 2022 Dodge Durango collided with a southbound 2020 Chevrolet Trax.

The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet were transported to Kettering Health with minor injuries. The officer was not injured.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
