SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — The City of Springfield’s CultureFest has been cancelled.

The city announced this morning that the festival was cancelled after recent threats to public safety.

City officials consulted with law enforcement and determined that canceling the event was in the best interests of staff, attendees, vendors and volunteers.

“We deeply regret having to cancel CultureFest, as we know it is a beloved event for our
community,” said City Manager Bryan Heck. “However, the safety of our residents and visitors
    must come first.”

Since the truth is out and the threats are confirmed they’re coming from overseas I wouldn’t drive in that mess again. I changed doctors last year because they’re in Springfield. We quit shopping there two years ago because of the massive theft and crime let alone the foreign population not being very good drivers. It’s a war zone there and they’re spreading because there’s not enough housing period.
