    Enon man charged in fatal Dayton shooting

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — An Enon man is facing charges in relation to a fatal shooting that took place earlier this month.

    Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck, Jr. announced the indictment of Aldayshein Brezae Morgan, 23 of Enon, on Sept. 19. Morgan has been charged in the shooting death of 32-year-old Korwyn Moore at Summit Square Apartments on Sept. 7.

    Springfield mayor issues proclamation after safety threats

    On the evening of Saturday, Sept. 7, Dayton police were sent to the 600 block of Summit Square Drive for a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a gunshot victim, identified as Moore.

    Moore was transported to the hospital where he later died around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday from his injuries.

    Using witness statements and video surveillance, police determined there had been an altercation in the parking lot between the victim and a resident when the defendant fired several rounds at the victim.

    The Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted Morgan on the following charges:

    • Two counts of Murder
    • One count of Felonious Assault – deadly weapon
    • One count of Felonious Assault – serious physical harm
    • Two counts of Tampering with Evidence

    Morgan is currently at the Montgomery County Jail, held on a $1 million bond. He is set to be arraigned on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8:30 a.m.
