    Deputies capture mystery livestock in Butler County

    BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — Authorities were not horsing around when they showed up to livestock roaming around.

    Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home during the evening of Sept. 11. When they arrived, they were told two animals were seen walking around.

    Sheriff Jones offering meet and greet, trick-or-treating, giveaways on Halloween

    Officials drove back into the property with authorization to find two livestock animals.

    It is undetermined whether one of the animals was a donkey or horse.

    It's a dorse. Very common in Butler County. Locals in that county live in fear of the dorse. And the sun. And their shadow.
