Law enforcement agencies to operate joint traffic detail

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Motorists should expect a heightened law enforcement presence on Interstate 75 today.

The Dayton Police Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) will operate a traffic enforcement detail from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The traffic enforcement effort aims to lessen the number of crashes on area roadways, suppress crime, raise awareness, provide education, and spotlight community transparency through traffic safety measures.
