    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — It’s the first official weekend of Fall and the Dayton area is full of festivals and Oktoberfest celebrations. 2 NEWS compiled a list of events happening across the Miami Valley.

    Friday, Sept. 27

    Tipp City Mum Festival – 4 p.m., 35 Parkwood Drive, Tipp City. Shop from a large selection of mums and from local businesses this weekend in downtown Tipp City. Learn more .

    Dayton Independent Film Festival – 5 p.m., 29 E. Creative Way, Dayton. The University of Dayton celebrates regional filmmakers with this three-day event. Learn more .

    Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse In Concert – 7:30 p.m., 1 W. Second Street, Dayton. Watch the iconic animated film alongside an ensemble of musicians performing the soundtrack live. Learn more .
