A spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice said the Remembrance Walk encourages people to celebrate the lives of those who have died.

“It’s a time to come together as a community, share memories, and honor the lasting impact our loved ones have had on our lives,” said the spokesperson. “Each step we take is a tribute to their legacy and a reminder of the enduring bonds that connect us.”

Prices to participate in the event range from $15 to $25, depending on who the individual is. An option to purchase a “memory sign” to be placed near the main entrance of the Hospice House is available for $20.

    Category Price
    Youth Walker $15
    Active Military or Veteran $20
    Memory Walk Sign $20
    Individual Walker $25

Interested attendees who register by Sept. 30 are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt.

Proceeds from the event go towards patient care and services, according to Ohio’s Hospice.
