Dayton VA Emergency Department now accepting patients

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton VA Medical Center was unable to take Veterans seeking immediate medical care on Friday afternoon.

According to the Dayton VA, “a non-VA emergency matter” prompted the Emergency Department to have patients look for immediate attention from another emergency medical facility or VA tele-emergency services until.

Patients who already have appointments or procedures scheduled were not affected.

The Dayton VA reopened its Emergency Department back up to patients just before 3 p.m.
