Police searching for suspect in reported stabbing

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed early Saturday morning.

Around 8:20 a.m., Huber Heights police and medics responded to the 6000 block of Chambersburg Road on reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, crews found a 26-year-old man with injuries. Police say he was alert and talking to officers while on scene, before being transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.

While on scene, the victim identified a suspect to police, who had fled by the time officers arrived.

This case is under active investigation by Huber Heights Police Division.
