DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Helene continues to make her presence felt all across the Miami Valley in the form of persistent rain showers. These showers are rotating around the northeast side of the remnant low which is now centered over West Central Kentucky.

Sunday will bring more showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorm or two. The low will begin lifting northeast as it simultaneously fades Monday, but could still spit out a couple showers along with an isolated thunderstorm. The best chance for any rain then will be across the eastern counties of the Miami Valley.

TONIGHT: Widespread evening showers becoming more scattered overnight. Mild and muggy. Low 64

SUNDAY: Cloudy with periods of showers. An isolated thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. A little more seasonable. High 72

SUNDAY NIGHT: Scattered evening showers with a slight chance of a thunderstorm, then showers becoming spotty overnight. Low 64

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. A continued chance of a few scattered showers along with an isolated thunderstorm. A little warmer. High 76

High pressure will take over the remainder of the week and bring lots of sunshine with increasingly warmer temperature from the upper 70s Tuesday to the lower 80s by Friday.
