CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) — A supermarket company with a twist has its eyes set on Centerville.

Documents obtained by WDTN.com show a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market wants to open a 25,538 square-foot location at 894 S. Main St. in Centerville. Grocery Outlet claims itself to be the country’s “largest extreme value retailer.”

The proposed store is planning to employ 25 people and operate daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the zoning permit. Inside, the store would likely sell fresh produce, meats, organics, frozen food, non-perishable foods, holiday décor and more for a discounted price.

Currently, the nearest Grocery Outlet location is in Eastgate, a suburb of Cincinnati. That store opened in June, according to WLWT in Cincinnati.
