DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Another local shelter has joined the call for emergency foster parents for incoming transfers due to Hurricane Helene.

SICSA announced Tuesday that it is seeking foster caregivers to assist with pets and rescues from multiple shelters affected by Helene’s destruction. Without power and water due to the storms, many shelters have had to partner with agencies like SICSA to ensure proper animal care.
