Crews respond to 2-vehicle crash reported on Gettysburg and Hoover

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A two-vehicle has been reported on North Gettysburg Ave. and Hoover Ave. in Dayton Monday evening.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, the call came in at 9:49 p.m. reporting a serious crash at the intersection.

A vehicle was reportedly heading northbound on Gettysburg and ran a red light, hitting another vehicle. The vehicle that ran a red light reportedly went through a fence into a Walgreens parking lot.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital.

Dispatch confirmed that both roads are blocked at this time; motorists should find an alternate route if in the area.
