Water line replacement impacting traffic in Kettering

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews are working to replace a water service line in the area of Stroop Road and Ohio 48.

The maintenance work will have a few impacts for residents this morning.

Traffic

• Lanes on Stroop headed towards Shroyer Road are reduced to one lane going eastbound.
• Westbound to Moraine reduced to one lane.
• For the intersection SB on 48 towards Kettering/Centerville – One turn lane turning left onto Stroop Road from Far Hills Avenue.

Water service impact

• Residents between the area of 48 and Lennox may experience low water pressure.
• A boil advisory is not expected.
• Residents will be notified of any updates or changes.

The water service replacement work should be completed by the end of the work day.
