    Animal Resource Center giving free vaccines

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center (ARC) is hosting a free dog vaccine clinic later this month.

    The first 50 dogs at the clinic will receive a free vaccine without needing to schedule an appointment.

    The Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a deworming treatment, a flea treatment and a bag of dog food will be offered at the clinic on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Microchips will also be available for $10 and dog licenses, a requirement for dogs receiving a vaccine, will be on sale from staff at the event.

    If weather is poor then the clinic will be rescheduled for Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
