    Springfield teen to serve up to 18 years for death of Dayton man

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A Springfield teen has been sentenced to up to 18 years in prison for the murder of a Dayton man in 2022.

    On Wednesday, Destiney Massie pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery. Massie admitted to shooting and killing Elijah Stollings .

    State fire marshal lifts open burn ban in Ohio

    Police found his body inside a vehicle on Shiloh Springs Road in Trotwood in August of 2022.

    According to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, a judge sentenced Massie to 13 to 18 years at the Ohio State Reformatory for Women in Marysville.
