1 dead after crash Monday night in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is dead after a crash Monday night.

According to the Dayton Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. after a bicyclist failed to yield to a stop sign before making a left turn on Xenia Avenue.

This resulted in a crash with a Kia Rio.

The man riding the bicycle was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. The man was 51 years old.
