1 hospitalized after crash in Darke County

BRADFORD, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman was hospitalized with minor injuries after a crash on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at the intersection of State Route 721 and U.S. Route 36 East.

Deputies from the sheriff’s office alongside Bradford Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the area around 5:27 p.m. on report of an injury crash.

The two vehicles crashed when the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder failed to yield to a Ford Focus as the Nissan was initially stopped at a stop sign. The Ford Focus was traveling east on the intersection and the Nissan was parked on State Route 721 as the crash occurred.

The driver of the Nissan was transported to an area hospital.

An investigation is ongoing.
