    Police presence expected Thursday in Montgomery County

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Drivers traveling through a portion of Montgomery County will likely notice a police presence during their drive home on Thursday.

    The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be working to conduct a joint traffic enforcement detail on Oct. 17 from 2 to 6 p.m.

    Underground downtown fire: Building evacuated, streets closed

    OSP will be working alongside the Dayton Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

    Authorities will be on State Route 48 to focus on reducing crashes and suppressing crime. Officials will also raise awareness and transparency to drivers during the enforcement.
