Learn how to be a comedian with the Dayton Funny Bone

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Want to be a comedian? Your journey could begin with this introductory course from the Dayton Funny Bone.

The Dayton-area comedy center is hosting a virtual class on Wednesday, Nov. 6 that will bring you the introductory elements required to cultivate your passion as a comedian or to simply improve as a public speaker.

“This course is designed to help find the funny in you. We teach how to write original material, how to construct a set, timing, how to work an audience, and a little about the business end of comedy,” said the Funny Bone Comedy School in a press release.

The class will begin at 7 p.m. via Zoom. It is free to attend, but is for those 18 years of age or older. There’s still time to register as the entry window closes at 4 p.m. on Nov. 6.
