The city of Centerville reports the Clarence Nutt House, located at 30 East Ridgeway Drive in Centerville, was selected as the first property within Uptown to receive recognition by the Landmarks Foundation of Centerville and Washington Township.

According to the marker, the Nutt Family resided at the address for four generations. The family started their roots in 1796 and eventually moved in 1970.

“These markers are important to tell the stories of our community and share our unique architectural and historic heritage for generations,” said Brenda Badgley, trustee of Landmarks Foundation.

In recent times, Cross Point Vineyard Church occupies the building for office space.
