WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio ( WDTN ) — Local leaders may purchase a property to extend a park.

The Washington Township Board of Trustees could approve a resolution to purchase 7865 Paragon Road for $614,800. If trustees move to approve the resolution, the building will be demolished and converted into green space for the expansion of Countryside Park out to Paragon Road.

Public property records show a property management company, attorney, medical and real estate offices have all occupied the office building over the years.

Trustees are expected to discuss the resolution during the Oct. 21 meeting at 4 p.m. Residents looking to attend the meeting should go to the Washington Township Government Center at 8200 McEwen Road.
