Sunshine throughout the weekend, will it get much warmer?

High pressure dominates the eastern half of the United States and that is leading to all the sunshine that we have seen and will see throughout the weekend. That high pressure will stay in place through Tuesday, but eventually as we head into Wednesday a cold front will sweep through. Temperatures will gradually get warmer through Wednesday as highs range from 70-75 degrees. When the cold front moves through, there will be a chance for some showers. Temperatures will cool into the lower to mid 60s on Thursday and Friday with sunshine.
