    Weekend walks seek to raise money for good causes

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Are you looking to get some exercise while raising money for a good cause? There’s multiple fundraising walks to choose from this weekend.

    Walk to End Alzheimer’s

    If you missed the Dayton Chapter’s Walk to End ALZ last weekend, you don’t have to go far to participate this weekend instead.

    The walk will start 9 a.m. at 734 Woodlawn Avenue on the Wittenberg University campus in Springfield.

    The Alzheimer’s Association holds various walks and fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs. Click here to learn more.

    Weekend events around Dayton: Oct. 25-27

    Remembrance Walk

    Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton will host a Remembrance Walk to honor loved ones. The walk will take place at its Dayton campus at 324 Wilmington Avenue.

    Proceeds from this event will go back to patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice, including grief counseling, complementary therapies like art and music as well as financial assistance for patients.

    The walk will begin at 10 a.m. with registration beginning earlier at 8:30 a.m. Click here to learn more.

    Iconic ‘Pumpkin Glow’ returns to Grafton Hill

    Walk for the Cure

    The Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation will be at Day Air Ballpark on Saturday morning, looking to raise money for families affected by pediatric brain tumors. The event starts at 9 a.m.
