Iowa schools release students early due to intense heat

Our School has no air conditioning in the school or on buses. As a grandparent(Iwe have our grandkids) I feel its not safe to have school going to late in the afternoon because the buses themselves are extremely hot, especially with all the stops. Please parents/guardians remind the kids to take jugs with water and to be drinking plenty.
