Randy Orton Confirms Length Of His WWE Contract Extension

Randy Orton returned to WWE at last November’s Survivor Series premium live event after more than 550 days away due to injury. Yet, while CM Punk’s surprise comeback greatly overshadowed Orton’s on the night, he still delighted fans by looking better than ever. And now, while speaking to Marca.com , the third-generation wrestler has revealed he recently signed a five-year contract extension.

“I just signed a five-year contract extension, and I don’t have to rush it. I’ve got all the time in the world, as far as I’m concerned. I feel great. I feel healthy.”

After spending two decades at the pinnacle of the business, 44-year-old Orton is considered a pro wrestling legend by many. Notably, he has held a version of the world championship 14 times during this time, making him the third most recognized world champion in WWE history. Therefore, him committing his long-term future is a massive positive for the company, and it will now be intriguing to see if he can break John Cena and Ric Flair’s record of 16 world championships, given he has time on his side.
