WWE unexpectedly released Matt Camp, who was best known for hosting The Bump, to the shock of many fans back in February. The official reason for this was that the company was making budget cuts, which is typically what WWE tells talents in this situation. And now Camp has opened up about his departure from the company on his YouTube show , and, in the process, slammed his former co-worker Megan Morant for not contacting him after he was let go.

“You know who never said a word to me? This needs to be said because I’m kinda tired of this sh*t. Megan never said a word to me. I got let go, that show went on the air Wednesday. Not a f*cking text. Nothing. Nada. So remember that when you help people out, remember that … I’m sure this is gonna cause some sh*t on the internet, and I don’t really care because I don’t work there anymore, and I don’t talk to her, and she clearly has no interest in talking to me even though she was given help.”

Camp broke into the business in 2017 via Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion and, within a couple of years, was hired by WWE to be a presenter. From there, he quickly became a familiar face to wrestling fans, appearing on The Bump, Raw Talk, SmackDown LowDown, Best of WWE, NXT Level Up, WWE’s The Ultimate Show, and multiple premium live event kickoff shows. Additionally, it’s known that he worked as a historical advisor on several WWE documentaries, seemingly indicating that he has a vast knowledge of the industry.
