While Ric Flair is regarded as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time, his all-around aura is what turned him into a star, with his lavish robes being part of this. And now one of his most beautiful robes, The Green Jungle, which was handmade by Olivia Walker, has sold at auction for $103,700 following eight bids from collectors who clearly have deep pockets.

Who will benefit from the selling of this robe, which Flair wore for his 1986 NWA Battle Of The Belts II match with Barry Windham, is currently unclear. This is because while it’s known, it was once owned by referee and Flair mega fan Charles Robinson, it apparently was exchanged with a private collector, who clearly decided now was a good time to cash in on a legendary piece of pro wrestling history.
