Having demonstrated her exceptional wrestling ability at Forbidden Door, many fans assumed it would only be a matter of time before Stephanie Vaquer joined AEW. Yet, with the Chilean having always wanted to work for WWE, she chose to join them instead and is headed to NXT.

However, since working a couple of house shows in Mexico for the company, things have gone quiet regarding her television debut. And now, it has been reported by PWInsider.com that this is because she is waiting for her visa to be arranged so she can legally work in the US.

“As soon as Stephanie Vaquer’s work visa is worked out, she’ll be making her way to the United States.” PWInsider.com

31-year-old Vaquer broke into the wrestling business in 2009 in her home country of Chile, initially competing under the ring name Dark Angel. From there, she began working in Mexico, where she also had citizenship, which took her career to the next level. Still, it now seems she has a genuine chance of becoming a worldwide wrestling star if she can live up to her potential in WWE.
