WWE Reportedly Interested In Signing AEW Talent

Recently, there has been a lot of talk online regarding Ricky Stark’s future, with him not having been featured on AEW television since March. Additionally, when you add that his contract is known to be expiring later this year, many suspect he may intend to join his close friend Cody Rhodes in WWE. And now, indicating that it is a genuine possibility, Fightful Select has reported that WWE has a significant interest in the former NWA wrestler.

“Regarding the Ricky Starks rumors going around on social media, NXT sources say that there is significant interest in bringing Starks into the brand once he is available.”

34-year-old Starks signed with AEW in 2020 after an impressive tryout match against Cody Rhodes on Dynamite. Subsequently, he became very good friends with his opponent on the night, even being spotted backstage at the 2023 Royal Rumble. However, speculation would go to another level, which would commence once he was spotted at WrestleMania XL, watching Rhodes finish his story in person.
