In heartbreaking news, the son of Sid Eudy has announced on social media that his father, known to wrestling fans as Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, and Sycho Sid, has died following a battle with cancer. This comes just weeks after he revealed he hoped to receive a WWE Hall of Fame induction now that Vince McMahon is no longer part of the company. The 63-year-old former WWE and WCW Champion is survived by his wife, Sabrina, and two children.

Sid broke into the business in the late 80s, and his first gimmick was that of the masked Lord Humongous. From there, he would receive a massive break by working for New Japan under the name Vicious Warrior before joining the NWA/WCW as Sid Vicious, forming the Skyscrapers tag team along with Dan Spivey.

Still, due to his look and unique charisma, he was always destined for more, going on to become part of the Four Horsemen before catching the attention of Vince McMahon and joining WWE in 1991. However, despite being everything McMahon ever wanted in a wrestler, a failed drug test saw him quit the company, and from there, he moved between promotions several times before his full-time career in the ring ended after breaking his leg live on pay-per-view.
